Magnattack!
This is the game made by me (Pastore) and two other friends (Flávio and Rodrigo) for the ScoreSpace Jam #18. The game feature a fusion of the well-known shooter with the power of push and pulling objects with your magnetic powers!
You suddenly appear in a mysterious dungeon and just need to find a way out, can you do such a thing? The more you explore and fight through the rooms the more points you get. Compete with your friend to see who can get the most points per run.
Basic Controls:
WASD - Movement, O - Pull magnetic objects towards you, P - Push magnetic objects away and I - Shoot.
Some enemies are better killed when squished...
*Artwork used is a tileset made by Scut here on itch.io, it is free to use for non commercial uses.
*Sound Effects used are free Atari sounds
*Music used are: on Menu - "Rokko Chan - Lightning Man Stage" made by ASAGEN; on Gameplay - "Battle of the Holy"from Castlevania Adventure (1989).

This game is adorable. Love the retro-aesthetic and sound design. The hidden feature was a delight as well (no spoilers, but you’ll find it fast)
The gun was a bit tricky. I would often find myself facing the wrong way trying to shoot something.
It was this way because i didn't had the animations of the character facing up kr down ahahahaha. Thanks man!
I can't leave the help screen without reloading.
So, I really like the idea. Some of the execution is a bit wonky, as sometimes I can pull the objects, and sometimes I can't. I also truly hate that I switch direction when move up and down. (aka I turn left then walking up.)
But I enjoyed the puzzle element. I think with a bit more polish this could be a really great game.
So, after double checking both the game code and in-game here on the page i haven't found anything about it and I didn't saw this, pretty sure it's a bug from html conversion, it happens mostly when it's the first time on the game, consider pressing F5 to restart the game, most part of the times it solves the issues, but I will continue to investigate it, thank you for letting me know about that.
